I’m very particular about preventative maintenance. I perform all work myself as I’m an ASE Master Technician. I have all receipts from parts I’ve bought as well as previous owner.
Recent maintenance I’ve performed within the last 2000 miles:
OEM Spark Plugs
OEM Oil and Filter
OEM Air Filter
OEM Cabin Filter
Power Steering Fluid
OEM Coolant Flush
OEM Transmission Fluid
OEM Diff Fluid
ATE Superblue Brake and Clutch Fluid
CPV Valve
Chain Tensioner Washer
*Valve Adjustment
*VANOS Bolts updated and replaced
Valve Cover Gasket
VANOS Seals and gaskets replaced
VANOS Filter replaced
OEM Serpentine Belt and A/C Belt Replaced
OEM Brake Pads are roughly 50% life.
Mechanically, the car is better than flawless. I have spared no expense and made everything bulletproof. There are NO subframe cracks and absolutely nothing needs to be replaced.
The interior is near flawless. The driver seat bolster shows almost no wear and the steering wheel, shifter, carpet, etc. all look brand new. I only use Leatherique and Einzett products on the inside.
The Exterior is exceptionally nice. I recently polished the paint with M105/M205 and there are no swirls or holograms at all. I only wash with Optimum No Rinse. In the summer, I coated the paint with Wolfgang Fusion. This winter, I have Collinite on for better protection, even though I don’t drive the car.
There are two spots on the paint which aren’t flawless. The bottom front edge of the bumper has two small holes/cuts in it from the previous owner. He installed some CSL carbon fiber extensions and I didn’t like them so I removed them. Upon removal, it appeared that he drilled though the bumper in two spots. I filled them in with touch up paint. The rear bumper had a small scuff on it from the previous owner. I touched it up, wetsanded, and polished to hide the scuff. It’s not visible at all unless you are laying under the car. Just thought I would disclose.
Other than that, the paint is near flawless. ZERO door dings or dents. No paint work has ever been performed. No Accidents.
I purchased the car about a year ago from Enthusiast Auto Group in OH. If you don’t know who they are, they sell only the best M cars in the country. I got a little carried away with the maintenance so this car is much better than when I bought it. I tried to only perform tasteful, performance oriented mods to the car. I can also install the OEM parts if you would like.
I would like to get $27,000 for it as it sits. I think you’ll be hard-pressed to find a nicer example with such a complete and extensive maintenance history. I work for a BMW dealer, I’m a member of the BMWCCA, and I’m ASE Master Certified. I am more than happy to assist in a PPI at the shop of your choice. Please let me know if you have any questions. I have nothing to hide with this car. Thanks!
