2004 BMW M3, Phoenix Yellow, CSL style body, carbon fiber, Rare!!! – $25000

Friday, April 13th, 2012

This was posted on e46fanatics at 04-13-2012 08:29 AM

Rare 2004 BMW M3 in Phoenix Yellow with SMG transmission

It has CSL style front bumper and rear deck lid, along with carbon fiber hood and rear diffuser. Also, wheels are Volk CE28N lightweight racing wheels, which give the car a very nice look. It has just over 60K miles, always been garaged and was part of the BMW extended maintenence program (6 year/100K), so all maintenence was done properly by BMW dealer, inlcuding new brakes and a new clutch in June 2010. There is a slight crack on top of the cowl on the hood (see last picture). Call 512-796-4647 or email phancd@gmail.com with any questions.

2003 350Z Track Model!!

Friday, March 23rd, 2012

This was posted on NASA Racing at 03-23-2012 06:50 AM

2003 350Z Track Model $7,800!

Image

This Z would make somebody a fantastic foundation for the new SpecZ class! I was going to build it out for the class, but travel plans for the upcoming year will prevent me from having the spare time to do so.

For those that donâ??t know, the track model has the upgraded Brembo brakes. It also has a few other odd option that most track models did not come with, so if youâ??re going to part it out for a cage you will have lots of goodies to sell; it has side, head airbags and the navigation unit options.

All original (still has the track model wheels!) with the exception of maintenance items noted; I had done all fluids, plugs, brakes & alignment when purchased in late March 2011 (I am a former Nissan tech and have spent close to 20years with Nissan dealers). Although the brakes would need to be replaced since Iâ??ve done a couple of events on them.

Here is a video from RA in August of 2011, best lap in TT was a 1:52, not shabby for a stock Z and some very, very old race rubber. The video was the best way to show how well the car runs…
Image

The body has several dings and dents, most note worthy is the rf fender has a dent at the top of the arch and the rr quarter panel has a dent on its lower part. One rear tire pressure sensor battery is slowly dying as well. No other mechanical issues, runs and drives like a new one (this is my 3rd 350Z and something like 19th Z I have owned). Little less than 150k on the clock.

I do have a spare set of track model wheels that the buyer has first option to purchase; $600.

More current pics to come, with the pollen and evening showers has made getting decent pics a bit of a chore.

FS: 2005 330i ZHP M/T in VA

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

This was posted on Bimmerforum at 03-21-2012 02:03 AM

Selling my 2005 330i Performance, sadly. Best car I’ve ever owned, but time to move on.

-Silver/Gray Metallic on Black leather interior.
-6 Speed Manual transmission
-Performance Package
-Premium Package
-Harman-Kardon sound
-Xenon Headlights
-Heated Seats
-Bluetooth (works great w/my iPhone)
-iPod/iPhone adaptor (aftermarket, connects to the CD Changer wiring)

Tires are Hankook Ventus V12, fairly new. Lots of remaining tread.
Front brakes (shoes & calipers) were just replaced in November, along with the last oil change.

I just skimmed back through receipts and the only non-wear/maintenance items I’ve had to pay for on this car were a sensor boot ($14) and front control arm bushings ($300). Other than that it’s just been brakes, tires, fluids & filters.

I’m the second owner of this car, purchased off-lease with around 45k miles on it. I have full service records, including the dealer maintenance records from the original owner. I have all of the manuals and 2 keys. Currently has 99,xxx miles. The car is bone-stock, other than the iPod adaptor.

Full disclosure; I was rear-ended several years ago in traffic. It was a low-speed collision and only did superficial damage (gouges in the rear bumper cover, trim…) Repairs were done at a great body shop and didn’t affect the body of the car at all.

This car is my daily driver. It’s not perfect, but it’s a very clean and solid car. Still incredibly fun to drive, and in excellent mechanical condition. I’d love to see it find another good home with someone who can appreciate what this car is! Asking $17k.

91 CRX track car

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012

This was posted on NASA Racing at 03-14-2012 05:12 PM

1991 CRX
230,xxx miles
$3200
Greenville, SC

I’m selling my CRX to make room for a s2000. I absolutely love this car, but I just don’t have room for it anymore. I was a poor engineering student for most of my 7 years with it, so the engine and drivetrain are mostly stock. The suspension and brakes have been upgraded for track use, however. All maintenance was performed at or before the service intervals. Pretty much everything that moves has been replaced (engine, wheel bearings, axles, everything except trans) with new parts, so don’t let the mileage fool you.

This would make a perfect track car for somebody. The chassis is well set up and has the larger brakes. Mechanically it’s flawless – the timing belt, clutch, and RTA bushings were done 5k miles ago, and there are zero leaks. I tore it down a year ago to do the aforementioned maintenance and literally scrubbed the engine bay, it is immaculate now. With the recent maintenance done, all you should have to do is change the oil and put gas in it for the next 60k miles.

I’ll check this thread, but please contact me at victorzaccardo@gmail.com . See below for complete list and pictures:

Engine and Drivetrain

- 89 DOHC ZC – 115 whp
- Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, rear main, PCV system, SI throttle cable, and spark plugs replaced at 225k
- DC sport 4-2-1 header for EG civic, port matched and O2 moved to the a-pipe
- Fidanza 12lb flywheel
- New (stock) clutch at 220k
- New cat and fuel filter at around 215k
- RSR exhaust, muffler painted flat black. Looks stock aside from the tip and has a nice deep sound to it
- HASPORT d-series engine mounts (softest urithane)
- Stock transmission with GM syncromesh, syncros in good shape. ES shifter bushings
- New NAPA lifetime axles and hoses at 276k (still have the receipts)
- New distributer around 220k

Chassis

- No rust at all!
- 9005 low beams
- DA Integra seats
- Road race shifter that I made for a design project in college. Stock throws, just next to the steering wheel
- Battery relocated to the trunk with dry cell battery
- Kosi K1 wheels with Falken Azines (40% tread left)

Brakes

- EX knuckles with type R calipers and 11.2" rotors, Steel brake lines in the front. I also have the stock calipers if you want to run 10.3"
- Front wheel bearings, lug studs (.75" longer from TL) and ball joints were replaced at 220k
- CRX Si rear disk brakes
- 260v brake booster with 1" master cylinder

Suspension

- Koni yellow sport externally adjustable shocks
- Ground control spring perches (for Koni shocks) with 350f 250r springs.
- ST rear sway bar. I made mounting brackets so it doesn’t interfere with the exhaust (stock brackets interfere)
- RTA bushings replaced at 225k

Extra parts

- Parts SI transmission and the bearings needed to rebuild a trans. I was planning on swapping the final drive into the one I have and replacing the bearings, but I never got around to it
- Ground control kit for stock shocks including springs
- 2 or 3 sets of stock brake rotors
- A lot of the stock parts I pulled off the car, including calipers, knuckles, brake booster, AC system, seat rails etc.
