Hey guys, I guess I’m new to the forum. I’ve looked here before, but just now signed up today!
For sale: My super clean 2000 BMW 323ci coupe sport pkg with 86,xxx miles! This is my semi-daily driver and half of those miles are highway. Car is black with a tan interior and is a 5 speed manual. I am located in Indiana, 1 hour west of Indianapolis pretty much right along the IL border. Looking to sell, no trades, sorry. Just looking for something cheaper and a little better on gas in the city, but have to start with selling my baby.
The car: Clean car, Smoker free and garaged most of the time. I wash the car about once a week and take very good care of her. I would rate pretty much everything 9/10, minus the suspension, which is 7 or 8/10 (more on that below, no big deal.
Exterior: 9/10. Especially for its age. Paint is very smooth and shiny and has not a single dent anywhere! There is just a small amount of tiny rock chips at the front and a couple small surface scratches on the body. The glass and body panels are all perfect. Underbody is great and was not driven in snow at all by the original owner by the looks.
Interior: 9/10, 8.5/10 if you are pretty anal about it! Seats are like new and there is just a bit of pillar cloth sag, as well as the normal window trim peel thing. I re-glued one a few months ago, the PO did the other one years back. I have yet to fix it. There is also one very small burn in the rear seat from a buddy with his cigar.
Besides that, it has not been smoked in and looks amazing. Floor mats are about 6mo old- OEM
Engine/mechanical: 9/10. I have taken very good care of the car and in October I had it inspected and a full tune up done. New waterpump and thermostat (preventative), pads, belts, and all filters and fluids, minus differential fluid. Cutch grabs well and there is no grinding or anything like that.
The good:
-TWO sets of newer tires. General altimax arctic (German made) with about 400 miles on them or so, and Goodyear Eagle Gt’s with about 2000 miles on them. Like new!
-Tune up and such mentioned above
-Bentley repair manual-like new
-RE CNC aluminum and CF strut tower bar-great shape-ONLY mod.
-new floor mats, as well as a few other small things (bulbs and such)
-Almost $400 worth of bushings and flex disc (see below, no biggie)
The bad:
-Needs aligned after I got new tires. Nobody within an hour drive can do it correctly, but might just be the tires. Slight pull above 40mph because of it.
-pass window regulator will probably go within the next 6mo or so unless it’s never used..still works fine though.
-The suspension is mostly original and somewhat worn out. Had it all inspected and was told that everything was in working shape, but I know better. Because of that, I purchased all new FCABS, RTABS, Diff bushings, and flex disc just in case, as well as new hardware. Control arms are fine luckily!
That’s about it. No major problems of any type, and car runs like a champ! She is ready to go where you want her to.
NOW on to pics!
Most of these are a few days old (yes it keeps on raining)
